MPP Arnott congratulates County of Wellington, thanks Provincial
Government
(Wellington-Halton Hills) – Wellington-Halton Hills MPP Ted Arnott today attended the Official Grand
Opening of Fergusson Place, a 55-unit affordable housing apartment building in Fergus.

“Every family needs affordable, decent housing,” said Mr. Arnott. “County Council and Staff
understand this, and deserve credit for this building project. It’s good to see that some of our
provincial tax dollars are helping to make it happen.”

Last year, on April 24 , Mr. Arnott attended the groundbreaking event for the project, where he
publicly thanked the McGuinty Government for being a funding partner.

“Although I sit in Opposition and oppose the Government’s budgetary policies, I recognize my
obligation to work with the Government when possible in the interest of our local communities,” he
added.
