Following up on jobs
(Wellington-Halton Hills) – In a gesture of cooperation with the new minority provincial
Government, MPP Ted Arnott has invited the Minister of Economic Development to visit
Wellington-Halton Hills.
“Jobs and the economy are top-of-mind concerns in our Riding,” Mr. Arnott said. “The new
Minister, Brad Duguid, would learn a great deal if he were to tour our area. I would be glad to
host the Minister.”
Last month, just days after he was re-elected to the Ontario Legislature, Mr. Arnott called upon
the McGuinty Liberals to immediately develop a comprehensive jobs plan.
He has also sought and received the advice and suggestions of municipal councillors, at a meeting to discuss the issue of local economic development.
“When the Ontario Legislature resumes sitting on November the 21st, I want to be prepared and
ready to hit the ground running,” Mr. Arnott concluded.
