MPP Arnott attends opening of The Residences at St.
Andrews
(Wellington-Halton Hills) – On Friday, Wellington-Halton Hills MPP Ted Arnott attended the official
opening of the Residences at St. Andrews, a new affordable housing development on Sinclair Road in
Georgetown.

The Residences at St. Andrews, a project which received over $3 million in funding from the Canada-
Ontario Affordable Housing Program, will provide 44 new affordable housing units for seniors and people
with special needs.

“This is great news for seniors and others in our area. The Residences at St. Andrews will be a
wonderful home, for many years to come,” said Mr. Arnott. “It will greatly improve the quality of life for
people in our community.”

Mr. Arnott added his thanks to all the partners involved in completing the project.

“We appreciate the leadership of Michael Chong and the Government of Canada, the involvement of the
Province, the Region of Halton, the Town of Halton Hills, the United Church, St. Andrews Georgetown
Corporation, and everyone else who worked hard to make this vision a reality,” Mr. Arnott concluded.
